Rachel Moninger is the founder, owner and operator of Bottle Cap Bookkeeping, LLC, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Rachel has over a decade of self-employment experience and is an avid self-starter and passionate entrepreneur. Her previous positions have allowed her to build skills in the areas of marketing, accounting, coaching and instruction, manufacturing, and sales. This varied professional background helped her build a solid business knowledge foundation, eventually leading to her true passion: Tracking the numbers.
Rachel prides herself in her meticulous recordkeeping and problem-solving skills. She believes in empathy, honesty, and championing for her clients. Rachel holds an Enrolled Agent designation with the Internal Revenue Service, enabling her to represent taxpayers before the IRS.
Rachel is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, licensed with the state of North Carolina to practice accounting, and is fully insured. She is also a member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the American Institute for Professional Bookkeepers and the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
Rachel is a lifelong musician and enjoys playing the bass guitar and singing with Peak City Sound, a non-profit community band based in Apex, North Carolina. She is also a volunteer Sexual Assault Response Advocate with InterAct, a non-profit domestic violence and sexual assault services organization in Raleigh, North Carolina.
